Parnell Trust

Parnell Trust has been working in a community development role since 1982, seeking to create and strengthen our community through shared cultural, recreational and educational activities.

The Trust offers a diverse range of programmes and services, including two Early Childhood Centres based in Parnell, after school and school holiday programmes, community classes and activities, bookings for the Jubilee Building venue, the Parnell Farmers’ Market at 545 Parnell Road every Saturday morning and the monthly Craft Harvest.

 Parnell Community Committee Inc

Parnell Community Committee Inc (PCC) is one of Auckland’s oldest volunteer advocacy groups, started 27 years ago. We work hard to harness great community led ideas for the future of Parnell and present them to the key movers and shakers within inner Auckland.

Newmarket Business Association

Te Ti Tutahi, or Newmarket as we know it today, has been a hub of activity for well over one hundred years. It has evolved from being a transport link to the south, and trading post, to a bustling metropolitan centre that encompasses retail, hospitality, commercial businesses, and is home to many New Zealand head offices. During its history Newmarket has also seen a flourishing arts community emerge. These days the precinct is home to a fabulous array of art galleries, artists, crafts people, and of course a superb collection of street art. Art is not only visually pleasing but more importantly promotes conversation, and gives a community soul, context and substance. Newmarket is a proud supporter of Art in a Day.

Grafton Residents Association

The Grafton Residents Association (GRA) is an advocacy group, started many years ago by locals concerned about the negative impact of Civic and Private development on our Community.

Our small, dedicated team of Volunteers are all local residents who spend many hours of their own time to help your voice be heard within the Council and related Agencies.

Our aim is to:

  • Listen to your needs as a Grafton Resident

  • Help our community stay connected and feel safe

  • Voice your Concerns to Auckland Council and related Agencies

  • Keep you informed of the changes across our City that may affect your life as a Grafton Resident.
